Ajayi Ayobami

Product Designer & Design Engineer

Lagos, Nigeria

I'm a product designer and design engineer based in Lagos. For more than four years I've designed digital products for healthcare, fintech, hospitality, web3 and education.

I studied computer science, with an MSc in computer and information science, so I know how things get built. That lets me design what can really ship, and I often build it myself, working closely with engineers.

Right now I'm at De-Virtuosphere, designing and building Virtuo, an operating system for African schools. On the side I made Lectivo and Nmeal.

how I work

  1. 01

    Request

It starts with what you need. I listen first, to understand your goals and your ideas.

  2. 02

    Strategy

We decide who it is for, what to make first and what to leave out.

  3. 03

    Design

I design the screens and flows, and prototype them so you can try them before anything is built.

  4. 04

    Feedback

You react to the work and I revise it until it fits.
